About The Exhibit
In celebration of the National Park Service’s 100-Year Anniversary, The G2 Gallery has curated a special four-part exhibition series highlighting what has been called “America’s Best Idea” – the stunning national parks of the United States.
Each three-month exhibit showcases a region of the United States: The North East, The South, The Midwest and The West. More than 600 landmarks, monuments, historical sites, parks, waterways, trails, homes, heritage areas will make up the field of possible subjects in these regions. The National Park Service (NPS) is responsible for the maintenance of these designated areas, ensuring the survival of natural and manmade American landmarks for generations to come.
From the world-famous to the lesser-known, each national park has a unique history and a deep significance. The G2 Gallery is proud to exhibit photography that showcases the U.S. national parks’ beauty and NPS’s century of hard work protecting those landscapes.
