About Robin Black
Robin Black is a nature photographer and conservationist based in Los Angeles, CA. She has earned various awards for her landscapes, including First Place in Art Wolfe’s prestigious International Conservation Photography competition. Her work has been featured at the Burke Museum of Natural History in Seattle, the New York Center for Photographic Art, the Getty Museum’s Saturdays Off the 405 digital exhibition, and the Yosemite National Park Museum’s prestigious Yosemite Renaissance annual exhibit. She has been published in Outdoor Photographer Magazine, Yosemite Conservancy magazine, and Smithsonian magazine. Robin is a passionate environmentalist and continues her work on a documentary photography project about bird habitats at Owens Lake and the surrounding water rights issues in Los Angeles.
