About John D’Onofrio

John D’Onofrio is a photographer, writer and painter based in Bellingham, Washington. John has been exhibiting and publishing his photography since he was a student, earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Rutgers University in 1980. He has published and edited Adventures NW Magazine since 2012, and his images have appeared in magazines, books, and newspapers including Trail Runner, Cascadia Weekly and National Geographic Adventure. His work is on permanent display in the U.S. Forest Service National Headquarters in Everett, Washington, and is currently available for sale at North Cascades National Park. John also leads photography workshops and presentations at Whatcom Museum, Jansen Art Center and the North Cascades Institute.
