Susan Gottlieb

Susan Gottlieb is the Co-founder and Executive Director of The G2 Gallery. Susan founded G2 with her husband Dan in 2008, and now oversees all public events held at the gallery, including fundraisers, exhibit receptions and photography workshops. She also hosts artist dinners and reviews all written materials for the gallery, overseeing budget and staffing through monthly reporting and meetings. In addition to her internal responsibilities, Susan serves on the President’s Council of the National Wildlife Federation, and on the Boards of Directors of the Friends of Ballona Wetlands and Audubon California, and is a personal supporter of many environmental organizations including Earth Justice, Conservation International and The Theodore Payne Foundation among many others.

Lisa Fimiani

Lisa Fimiani is the Director of The G2 Gallery. Lisa oversees all aspects of the gallery’s operations and manages the staff. She brings extensive experience to her role, after serving as the Executive Director of the non-profit, Friends of Ballona Wetlands, for seven years. Lisa is a seasoned naturalist, and continues to volunteer for numerous environmental charities in the Los Angeles area. Lisa is a self-described ‘bird nerd,’ stating if she was a bird she would be a Yellow Warbler.

Monika Basse

Monika Basse is the Curator of The G2 Gallery. Monika recently earned an M.A. in Art and Curatorial Practices in the Public Sphere from the University of Southern California. Her strong background in the art world includes stints at the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, the Lois Lambert Gallery at Bergamot Station, LACMA and Christie’s Auction House. Additionally, Monika was a teacher’s assistant during her time at USC, working with undergraduates on art theory and history. Monika is multilingual, speaking German, Russian, English and French.

Erin Baldner

Erin Baldner is the Event Coordinator at The G2 Gallery. She oversees in-house events, including exhibit openings and pet adoptions, and manages rental of the gallery for private functions. Erin earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Fiber Arts, Costume Design, and Modern Dance from Western Washington University. When not expanding her skills as a milliner and jeweler she can be found swimming or hiking with her miniature longhaired dachshund, Linc. Her favorite way to fill up her downtime is to research foreign recipes and develop her skills in the kitchen.

Diane Shader Smith

Diane Shader Smith oversees PR and Marketing for The G2 Gallery. A communications professional for many years, Diane is also a published author and has written for TV, newspapers and magazines. She has been with the gallery since its opening and works directly with owners Susan and Dan Gottlieb on many of the gallery's activities along with the Gottliebs’ ancillary environmental initiatives.

Laurie O’Hara

Laurie O'Hara works on the Public Relations & Marketing team, handling publicity for the gallery¹s exhibits and events as well as G2¹s social media accounts. Laurie earned her B.A. in Art History from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts and joined the G2 team in 2016. She is an avid explorer of the National Parks, collecting vintage post cards from every park she¹s visited so far. Laurie also makes the best pumpkin pie in the world, but she¹ll never give up the secret family recipes

Jared Nigro

Jared Nigro works on G2's Public Relations & Marketing team, drafting G2’s written materials for exhibitions and events. He is also the programming coordinator of the gallery’s annual G2 Green Earth Film Festival. A big supporter of public transportation as a way to reduce carbon footprints, Jared is also a passionate vegetarian and the proud owner of two Siamese-Coon mixes.

Natalie Paredes

Natalie Paredes is the Manager and Buyer for The G2 Gallery Store. Natalie purchases sustainable and trendy merchandise for the gift shop and also works on the overall look of the store. Natalie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Art History from the University of Southern California in 2014 before coming to G2 in 2016. In her free time, Natalie tutors English and History and is the proud owner of three cats and a dog (Zuko, Muffins, Toph and Azula). If allowed, she would buy a whole farm full of animals!

Dyna Rivera

Dyna Rivera is the Graphic Designer for The G2 Gallery. Dyna originally attended Full Sail University in Florida to pursue photography but soon switched to graphic design, the field she has been working in for more than five years. Dyna has consulted with several companies on their brand identity and website development including Mopro and South Bay Digs. Still a photography buff, Dyna is thrilled that her "office" is filled with beautiful photographs.

Andrea Rennard

Gallery Assistant

Andrea Rennard is a Gallery Assistant at The G2 Gallery. Andrea has worked in the art department for various major films, including Angels and Demons and The Double, and was an Art Director on Discovery Channel’s Unusual Suspect in 2012. Andrea joined the G2 team in 2015.

Harlie Stansell

Gallery Assistant

Harlie Stansell is a gallery assistant at G2. Originally from Fort Myers, Florida, she is now a biology major at Santa Monica College, hoping to become a medical examiner. Harlie is a reptile lover, with a passion for snakes and dragons, and she brings Steve, her Chinese Water Dragon, to work ever day. When she's not at the gallery, Harlie enjoys kayaking, hiking, cycling

The G2 Gallery is free and open to the public. Admission to special events, including artist receptions, is $10 at the door and will directly support environmental charities.
