The G2 Gallery Presents Jeff Gale
Solo Exhibit Will Illuminate Work Being Accomplished by Eco-charity Conservation International, Opening February 9, 2010
Venice, CA – On Tuesday, February 9, 2009, The G2 Gallery will open a solo exhibit of photography by Jeff Gale. As a board member of Conservation International (CI), one of the world’s leading environmental research and action-based charities, Jeff has worked closely with CI in documenting wildlife in areas at-risk from global climate change, and will be showing images from his recent trip to Africa. For this exhibit, Jeff will showcase images of primates in the wild, highlighting a major concern for CI. The G2 Gallery and Jeff Gale will donate 100% of the proceeds from this exhibit to Conservation International. The opening reception will be held Friday, February 12 and will also celebrate the opening of the group show, Romance.

Romance will feature the work of photographers Thomas D. Mangelsen, Marc Muench, Harry Giglio, J.J. L’Heureux, Larry Wan, Ira Mintz, Kristen Westlake, Mark Levine, Mike Caroff, Carl Richards, and Daniel Gottlieb and Susan Gottlieb.

Based primarily in Las Vegas, Jeff devotes his time and talents to traveling the globe with CI, photographing the world’s most unique places. Jeff is also a member of the International League of Conservation Photographers, whose mission it is to capture the images that will bring awareness to the public about not only the beauty of our shared planet, but more importantly, the degradation as well. In so doing the ILCP promotes the necessity of protecting the bio-diversity and great landscapes that protect and nourish all life on Earth. Jeff has traveled to such exotic locales as the Galapagos Islands, Africa, British Columbian rain forests and rarely seen areas of Russia. Before his work in conservation, Jeff owned and operated Photo Finish, the largest studio and first digital lab in the state of Nevada.
