The G2 Gallery Reaches Out to Pets in Need With Animal Charity Benefit
Fundraiser Benefiting Voice For the Animals Will Take Place November 20
Venice, CA – On Friday, November 20, 2009, from 6:00-9:00pm, the G2 Gallery will host a fundraiser benefiting Voice for the Animals (VFTA) with live music provided by classical pianist Rich Smith. Smith is an environmentally conscious musician who has engaged in many nature related projects. His modern-classical playing style will entrhall guests and animals alike.

Animal companions from VFTA’s locally based rescue program will be on site. Admission is free and open to the public. A silent auction will be held with all proceeds going to VFTA.

Voice For The Animals Foundation is devoted to creating respect and empathy for animals through education, rescue, legislation, and advocacy. Our programs include 24-hour Animal Assistance Hotline, Helping Friends, Working Cats, L.A. Zoo Watch, Rescue & Adoption, Abuse Prevention, Humane Education, Political Animal newspaper, Feral Colonies, VFTA in Greece, and Animal Films.

Rich Smith is a performer, composer, and music producer, with a passionate and effortless improvisational style. His love of nature and the environment has inspired many of his musical compositions. Rich’s music has been featured in film, television, radio, and theater. His most recent endeavor has been for Green Living Project, which documents and promotes successful and unique models of sustainability from around the world.
