G2 Gallery Presents Nature LA: Larry Brownstein Photography Exhibition
Exhibition of New Work by Local Photographer To Open November 24, 2009
Venice, CA – On Tuesday, November 24, 2009, the G2 Gallery will feature a solo exhibition of photography by Los Angeles photographer Larry Brownstein. Larry will be participating in the G2 Gallery’s Nature LA series. Nature LA brings into focus the work of individual photographers based in the Los Angeles area whose passion is shooting in nature. The exhibitions rotate regularly to showcase up-and-coming photographers from Los Angeles. An Artist’s Reception will be held on Friday, December 4.

For his exhibition at G2 Gallery, Larry will present a suite of sepia tinged images of gulls that bridge the gap between nostalgia for a bygone California coast and our seascape’s present day reality. Each photograph’s vignettes resemble a postcard from the past but the clarity with which the birds are rendered is unmistakably modern. All proceeds from the sale of Larry’s gull images will be donated to Audubon California.
