The G2 Gallery Celebrates the Opening of Nature LA:
Nick Fash
on Abbot Kinney First Friday

First Installment of New Exhibition Series Opens November 6, 2009
Venice, CA – The G2 Gallery will celebrate the opening of Nature LA: Nick Fash on November 6, 2009 at 6:00pm in an event coinciding with Abbot Kinney First Fridays.  Forth Magazine, the Westside’s source for art and literature, will be on hand and will provide the evening’s musical entertainment.

The new exhibition will focus primarily on Nick’s vivid and vibrantly colorful closeup images of undersea creatures.  Each image appears as a study in color and form, capturing the glowing tendrils and neon transluence of this fascinating sea life.  P is a limited edition of xx. Nick’s position as an educator for Heal the Bay’s Santa Monica Bay Aquarium merged with his love of diving to inspire him to begin shooting underwater photography that he could use in the classroom.   He is the winner of various photo competitions and has formed a serendipitous alliance with Fuji Corp., which became aware of Nick’s work when his underwater camera housing was flooded on a dive.  Nature LA is Nick’s debut gallery exhibition.
