In all its forms fresh water satisfies humanity's most basic needs, defines our landscapes and our living conditions and drives economic productivity and growth. But in the 21st century, the story of fresh water is one of scarcity and decline across the globe. Environmental non-profit Conservation International brings these issues to light in Essence of Life: Fresh Water, to ensure that current and future generations benefit from abundant fresh water eco-systems.
