Come and join us for the opening reception of Great Plains: Michael Forsberg. Conservation photographer Michael Forsberg's work focuses on the terrain of his native Nebraska, and the vast Great Plains region. To date, Mike's work has appeared in numerous publications including Audubon, National Geographic, and Natural History. RSVP is required to events@theg2gallery.com.

After receiving a degree in geography with an emphasis in environmental studies from the University of Nebraska, Michael Forsberg worked for six years at NEBRASKAland Magazine, the state's conservation publication, where he got his start as a staff photographer and writer. Six years later, he opened his own gallery and photography business. To date, Michael's work has appeared in numerous publications including Audubon, National Geographic, and Natural History. He has published two books that have resulted in traveling exhibitions: On Ancient Wings—The Sandhill Cranes of North America and Great Plains—America's Lingering Wild. Michael Forsberg is based in Lincoln, Nebraska.

A Chinese proverb recited by Krebs best describes the essence of her CD titled Jazz Aviary: "A bird does not sing because it has an answer; it sings because it has a song."
