The Venice Garden and Home Tour is an annual event in Venice that showcases unusual and delightful homes and gardens that exemplify the creative and original style of their owners, as well as the talents of local designers. Visions of the Arctic: Florian Schulz and Nature LA: Sebastian Artz
World renowned photographer Florian Schulz reveals unprecedented, detailed views of an Arctic landscape that is surprisingly diverse and teeming with life.  Presented at The G2 Gallery by the environmental non-profit Earthjustice in association with Patagonia. Photographer Sebastian Artz recasts the underwater world in stark black and white imagery, presenting it in an abstract context which circumvents the obvious.

Meet the Artist Behind the Photo:
Michele Westmorland
Ocean Stewardship: The Human Impact. Life emerged from the oceans and humankind continues to rely on these waters for food security, climate regulation, and more.  ILCP Fellow, documentarian, and underwater photographer Michele Westmorland will give a presentation regarding our responsibility as humans in being good stewards of our oceans.  Using images from her collection and stories from recent investigative reports, Michele will show how remote communities are engaging the locals to protect the marine habitat in Papua New Guinea.

In Concert: Bel Canto
The Bel Canto Institute presents singers Cloe Schaaf and Ju Hyeon Han, and harpist Kathryn Andrews for an exceptional concert in an intimate setting at The G2 Gallery. The Institute, founded in 1987 by Metropolitan Opera Prompter and Assistant Conductor Jane Bakken Klaviter, is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization whose purpose is to perpetuate, teach and keep alive style and tradition in 19th and 20th Century Italian Opera. The G2 Gallery is free and open to the public. Admission to special events, including artist receptions, is $5 at the door and will directly support environmental charities.
