Since G2 opened in 2008, our mission has been to support art and the environment by showcasing nature and wildlife photography and donating the net proceeds from art sales to environmental nonprofits. The G2 Gallery is committed to presenting informative and engaging exhibitions, by both celebrated and emerging talents, that shed light on important environmental issues.
Through the years, we’ve been fortunate to collaborate with photographic luminaries like Art Wolfe, Robert Glenn Ketchum, Clyde Butcher, Thomas Mangelsen, Jack Dykinga, and many more. We’ve also worked with popular local artists like Jennifer MaHarry, Cheyne Walls, Andrei Duman, and many others. G2 has also partnered with many environmental organizations like Audubon, National Resources Defense Council, Earthjustice, National Parks Conservation Association and a multitude of regional charities.
There is so much that goes on behind-the- scenes at G2 and since we are involved in a myriad of different projects, we’ve decided to start this blog to share all of these enlightening activities with you. Expect to find artist interviews, tips from our Curator, details about our nonprofit support, glimpses into the renowned Gottlieb Native Garden and general insights from around the gallery.
Whether you’re looking for advice, inspiration or maybe you’re just curious about how exactly we curate our fascinating exhibitions — it’s all here.
