About Genaro Molina

Born in 1960’s San Francisco, Genaro Molina is generally known for photography documenting human-interest stories and diversity in the city of LA. Genaro works as a photojournalist for the Los Angeles Times and has numerous awards to his credit including the California Photographer of the year, the Clarion Award and the Harry Chapin Media Award. Partnering with Patricia Housen in 2000, Genaro published Ferris in Exile, a wry and poetic melodrama capturing the plight of Ferris, a housecat yearning to be free. Most recently, Genaro was featured in the Annenberg Space for Photography’s inaugural exhibit L8S ANG3LES. He currently resides in Santa Monica.
