About Stuart Sperling

Stuart Sperling is an artist working in both visual and aural mediums, creating three-dimensional experiences that border on the transcendental. An audio engineer and recordist for almost 15 years, Stuart has turned his focus to creating a sensory experience through audio-visual landscapes.

Stuart has studied at various prestigious institutions, graduating from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992. He then took intermittent classes at the Rhode Island School of Design and at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia to expand his field knowledge before obtaining his Masters at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts in 1999. Stuart’s audio expertise has lead to work on feature films, the J. Paul Getty Museum’s audio guides and interviews, and a commissioned piece from the Natural Museum of History in Los Angeles, CA. Stuart currently lives in Los Angeles as a freelance audio recordist.
