About Michael Caley
Michael Caley is a photographer and architect based in La Canada, California. Michael fell in love with Yosemite 45 years ago after spending a night backpacking on top of Half Dome. He had a solo exhibition at G2 in 2013, “From the Ashes: A California Wildfire Story,” which documented the damage and rejuvenation of the Angeles National Forest following the 2009 Station Fire. Michael went on a photographic safari of East Africa, shooting in Rwanda, Tanzania and Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve. He is also a volunteer supervisor for Tree People and a member of the California Native Plant Society and the Cactus and Succulent Society.
