About Karen Schuenemann
Karen Schuenemann is a photographer based in Los Angeles, California. She has been exploring digital photography for the past nine years. In December 2015, after a life-changing photography workshop in Jackson Hole, she left the security of a well paying job to pursue photography full-time. She is now an educator with The Creative Photo Academy in Torrance, California and Tuttle Cameras in Long Beach, California. Karen also teaches bird photography and is leading workshops in Bosque Del Apache, New Mexico, the Tetons and Africa. She is a juried member of Photographic and Digital Artists of the Palos Verdes Art Center (PADA), and a member of North American Nature Photographers Association (NANPA), Audubon and Nikon Professional Services. Her images have been exhibited in Torrance Art Museum, Palos Verdes Art Center and the Best of Nature Show at the San Diego Natural History Museum.
